Ironically of course, this also means I have to contribute to the pollution even more by travelling around in a taxi....

Fortunately from my view from the 26th floor it looks as though maybe something has happened to that heat inversion and things are starting to cool and the pollution must be being blown away as the sky looks much more beautiful out my window today than yesterday. Phew!

BEIJING (AFP) - People in Beijing were warned to stay indoors as the Chinese capital was shrouded in yellow smog with pollution reaching dangerous levels.
